The article deals with some reviews of the Russian émigré literature, regarding peasant policy of General Petr Nikolaevich Vrangel, a Commander-in-Chief of the Russian army. The author pays much attention to the analysis of agrarian reform concept.

According to the author national history nowadays plays an important role in citizens’ self-determination: it helps a modern person to realize that he is a part of historically developed, civil, ethno-cultural and confessional communities. To solve some problems of modern Russia, it is necessary to summarize Stalin’s political ideas and government activities at a high level.

Special attention is paid to the analysis of the views of such emigrant authors as the generals A.P. Budberg, N.N. Golovin, D.V. Filatev, a member of the government A.V. Kolchak, G.K. Hins, head of the constitutional-democratic party P.N. Miliukov, who considered the admiral's involvement in the dictator's duties as a mistake, which had great negative consequences for the White movement in the East of the country.

The proposed article is a brief insight into the regulation of marriage and family relations in the early stages of the formation of state and law in Ancient Greece. On the basis of special sources marriage and family relations in the ancient Greek civilization have been analyzed. In ancient Greek law, marriage was based to a large extent on the basis of the sacred laws and racial lifestyle. The author of the article points out, that modern civilizational confrontation in the territories of the Former Soviet Union testifies to the historical insolvency of the United States current geopolitical strategy, undermining the foundations of current world order. In this regard, the historical and philosophical understanding of the Soviet community, national priorities and historical perspectives of the national-public development of the USSR in the period between the two world wars is particularly relevant.

The article considers content-based links between the concepts of «civilization» and «culture» in the Russian and English languages. The purpose of the study is comparing their content-based components in the lexical semantic fields of verbalization of the concepts under consideration in the Russian and English languages. The research employs the method of cognitive comparative analysis. The analysis of lexical and semantic composition reveals similarities and differences in their structuring in the English and Russian languages. According to the author the result of comparison suggests implications that the concepts under study are perceived differently by the representatives of the Russian and English cultures and contributes to the revelation of national peculiarity of conceptualization of cognate phenomena in the mentality of different peoples.

Modern studies of the population structure in the Russian Federation show that the improvement of living conditions and the development of medicine causes the rapid growth of the share of people, who are older than working age. Nowadays, the number of such people in our country is about 21%. This trend leads to the fact that society sees the retirement age as the same socially significant period of life like all life until retirement. In this context, it is important to build an effective system of career management for older workers, taking into account their age and psychological characteristics, as well as the creation of conditions for the productive use of their experience and unique resources. These measures can be a catalyst for modernization and increase the number of qualified and experienced personnel in government.

Противодействие коррупции – сложная и ответственная задача, решаемая множеством субъектов: от международных организаций до муниципальных образований. Решению этой проблемы посвящено множество нормативных правовых актов различного уровня. Однако положительных результатов в этой сфере деятельности наблюдается не много. Одной из причин такого положения дел является низкий уровень взаимодействия органов власти и институтов гражданского общества, невзирая на то, что такое взаимодействие прямо предусмотрено нормативными правовыми актами. Международные антикоррупционные правовые документы в целях эффективного противодействия коррупции предусматривают взаимодействие органов государственной власти их должностными лицами с институтами гражданского общества. Действующее российское федеральное антикоррупционное законодательство такому взаимодействию придает принципиально важный характер. Зная механизм воздействия у правоохранительных органов и специальных служб есть возможность прогнозирования тактических ходов, и принимать меры для применения адекватных упреждающих ударов, поскольку деятельность государства, направленная на охрану общественных отношений от любых посягательств.
