The loss of continuity between generations, the lack of desire of the younger generation to study the history and culture of its people, therefore, to objectively assess and accept the past, to analyze and compare the achievements of civilization is a reality of the XXI century. In the development of the conceptual foundations and methodology of curricular and extracurricular activities fit with the practice of ethnographic expeditions of the research activities in the field of folk art culture.

В данной статье автором рассматривается вопрос этнокультурного образования. Исследователь выделяет особое место этнографическим экспедициям Детской Академии русской культуры. Отмечается, что за двадцать лет организовано и проведено свыше пятидесяти подобных экспедиций, главной целью которых является приобщение подрастающего поколения к народной художественной культуре, изучению технологий художественного ремесла, опыта современных носителей отечественной культуры.
