«Роль зайсангов в калмыцком обществе в XIX в»
The article is devoted to the history of the upper class of the Kalmyks — zaisangs in the XIX century. The paper discusses the origin of zaisangs in the Kalmyk society, the circle executable their duties to control the simple nomads and collection of taxes, and the problems of relations with the Russian administration.
