в статье приводится краткий обзор зарубежных исследований, посвящённых изучению и пониманию роли регулятивных (исполнительных) функций у билингвов и полилингвов. Подчёркивается важность второго языка в решении когнитивных и поведенческих задач. Изучение регулятивных (исполнительных функций) имеет практическое значение и может быть использовано в обосновании решений образовательной политики в регионах с поликультурным составом населения, а также в психолого-педагогическом сопровождении школьным с разным языковым статусом.
