В статье речь идет о сохранении историко-культурного наследия России. В настоящее время возникает проблема уничтожения ценной исторической застройки в городе Вытегра. Авторы приходят к выводу, что необходимо выявить определенные режимы реконструкции и сохранения объектов исторического центра города, так как большинство из них требует капитального ремонта.
