Abstract
The article discusses the actual problems of organizing social work with single-parent families, characterizes different types of single-parent families, reveals the main problems that require social assistance and support for single-parent families; a review of modern technologies for providing social assistance to single-parent families, the prospects for its improvement is carried out.
