В ходе байдарочной экспедиции авторы проводили геоботанические исследования о растительности реки и ее берегов, полученные результаты представлены в виде табличных данных, а также брали пробы воды для выявления значения индекса загрязнения.

for the development of water tourism it was necessary to investigate the ecological state of the river Vyatka. With the use of rapid methods of chemical analysis of water samples, methods of socio-geographical and geo-botanical research and method lichenoindication the authors determined that the ecological condition of the Vyatka River and its banks is satisfactory. Development of tourist routes along the river from the village of Vyatka of Korzhavino village to Petropavlovskoe settlement of Kirov region is possible.
