the article is devoted to the study of the psychological characteristics of hematologists and image of their "ideal" patient. A study is commissioned by the Research Institute of Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Transplantation named after R.M. Gorbacheva. The study involves 14 physicians, with the average age of 30.5 years. The findings are of great interest and have practical significance, in particular, they can be used while improving the quality of contact among medical staff and patients, which, in turn, is an essential condition for recovery.
