Состояние массива горных пород зависит как от естественных, так и техногенных факторов. Для определения причин деформаций уступов и бортов карьеров, а также для разработки мероприятий по их прогнозированию и предотвращению необходимо в период строительства и эксплуатации карьеров обеспечить непрерывное наблюдение за устойчивостью откосов.
