the article considers the problem of genital prolapse in women. This is not a rare pathology to date. On the basis of clinical hospital, the authors conducted the study, the statistical data and the results of observations of patients. The researcher also described the classification and different ways of treatment of this pathology, developed a new method of surgical treatment of genital prolapse (circular hemostatic suture in vaginal extirpation of the uterus). At the end of the article the conclusions have been made.
