Various factors of the environment create unique features of different highland zones. There are number of factors under highland conditions, which affect the physiological condition of the body: decreased atmospheric pressure (Hypobaria); reduced partial pressure of oxygen: temperature, humidity, high intensity of solar radiation and air ionization.
