This article identifies the problem of the use of the bitumen produced in russia. The effect of the composition of bitumen on the basic characteristics of the asphalt binder is shown . However, this study discussed methods of modification of bitumen rubber crumb. The effect of technological factors on the modification of bitumen rubber crumb is reviewed. It proposes a method of modifying of bitumen by rubber crumb in an ultrasonic field with plasticizer.
