Anisotropy of mechanical properties of light-alloy boring pipes is investigated. Also the material type in relation to mechanical characteristics comes to light. Monoaxial tests of the pipes which are cut out from bodies are carried out. By the results of tests formulation of conclusions about anisotropy parameters.
