Radon hazard and ways to reduce it in the Lower Volga region
Annotation
In this article the problem of radioactive effect of radon on the population of the Lower Volga region is considered. The studies made it possible to calculate the averaged annual effective equivalent doses to the population of the Lower Volga region, caused by radon and daughter products of decay. Methods for reducing radon exhalation using different types of finishing materials are proposed.
