This article examines the legal framework for the implementation of social services in the city of Moscow for certain categories of citizens. It was noted that the Moscow Government paid special attention to social services for older people, and aimed not only at improving their living conditions, but also at expanding the capabilities of these people to independently provide for their basic living needs.
