Composition of gases formed during thermal degradation of resins used for metal sorption

Annotation

This paper presents a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the gaseous products of thermal degradation of ion-exchange resins used in uranium mining using the ISR method. The composition of the gases released during resin pyrolysis over a wide temperature range was determined. Graphs of resin mass and volume changes during thermal degradation, as well as temperature profiles for the release of volatile compounds, were analyzed and plotted. The results obtained are important for assessing environmental risks and developing emission control systems.
