Historiography of the subject of Russian emigration to Italy includes monographs and collections of articles which were created by Russian and Italian scientists. Nowadays a researcher should descend from the facts of emigrants’ biographies to the aspect of cultural transfer between Russia and Italy in the context of their history and cultural mentality.

The author explores representation and notions of political power in the Early Middle Ages. This article shows that some features of Theodoric the Great's figure from Anonymus Valesianus could be compared with features of king Solomon image from the third book of the Kings.
