This article examines the phenomenon of spatial segregation in Bogotá, Colombia, through the lens of the city's recreational development. The author analyzes the specific social stratification system, "esstratos," which, through its distribution of subsidies, has instead entrenched the criterion of "social stigma" and become a "social stigma" for residents of the periphery. Particular attention is paid to the "green divide"—the stark disparity in the availability of parkland between the "fashionable north" and the depressed south of the capital, where the per capita availability of quality space is nearly tenfold. The paper provides a thorough analysis of key urban projects: the weekly road closure system of Ciclovía and the construction of the Tercer Milenio Park. The author concludes that such initiatives often take the form of "compensatory urbanism" or "pacification urbanism."

В статье рассмотрены актуальные тенденции ландшафтного дизайна, наиболее яркие среди которых – стремление к простоте и использование природных материалов.
