The article deals with the recognition of the photographic materials, film, sound and video evidence in the administrative, criminal and civil proceedings of the Russian Federation. A comparative analysis of the procedural rules. The author comes to a conclusion about the problems of recognition as a photographic, film, sound and video recordings related to the lack of a unified approach to the issue of the legislator, which is one of the factors of violations of the law by the police.
