Abstract
Within the European integration the implementation of a unified visa policy and abolition of border formalities contribute to the successful formation of uniform tourist space. However, citizens of third countries face challenges in obtaining Schengen visas: there is no common approach to the passport and visa formalities for travelling to Schengen area countries.
