Abstract
This article discusses the features of progressive systems of effective management of material resources in Russia and abroad. The theoretical position of inventory management systems is analyzed, the application of these systems by mining companies is considered. Based on a comparative analysis, a conclusion was drawn on the management of material resources as one of the main indicators of the effectiveness of the mining industry.
