Abstract
This article describes: the history of appearance and development of Guinea pigs, provides an explanation of the etymology of the concept of "Guinea pig", the order and conditions of their feeding, a detailed study of feed, in order to analyze the effects of consumption of plant components and food additives included in feed and feedings, as well as determine their impact on the body and health of Guinea pigs
