Abstract

The article considers the main approaches of mathematical reflection studies aimed at improving the results of forecasts of competitors' actions in the oligopoly market. The analysis of the k-level approach, the quantum best response equilibrium approach (QLD), the quantum k-level approach, and the cognitive hierarchies approach is carried out. The role of the objective function in optimization theory is defined and described. The conclusion is made about the influence of the approach chosen to predict the actions of competitors on the decisions made by the oligopolist to choose the optimal one.
