Annotation
the article describes the role of exports in the context of increasing geo-economic position of Russia in international economic relations. The significance of increasing non-resource exports as driver of innovative development is substantiated. Special attention is paid to export positions and prospects of the Rostov region. The importance of this region in the system of Russia’s high-tech exports is emphasized. The author analyzes the key global non-resource markets, the presence in which is crucial for the competitiveness of the country and the region in the global economy.
