The article presents the results of evaluation of the impact of anthropogenic factors on the river Luchesa using methods of Myer and Nikolaev. Our study confirmed the increase of anthropogenic load on the river in the city compared with similar areas outside the city limits in the summer and autumn.

В результате было выявлено, что воды реки Витьба имеют прозрачность до 0,5 м, легкий болотный запах и желтоватый оттенок. По методу Майера данный водоток отнесен ко второму классу чистоты. По методу Николаева – к третьему классу. Река подвергается загрязнению и требует мероприятий по очистке.
assessed the species diversity of the Sphaeriidae family in several reservoirs of the Vitebsk region. In 2023, bivalve mollusks were collected from lakes Sosno, Polonskoye, Bernskoye, and three ponds. The collection was carried out using a bottom scraper to study the benthos. Species were identified in the laboratory of the Palace of Children and Youth using modern identifiers. Species richness was calculated for each reservoir using the Menkhinik method. It was found that Lake Sosno and the pond on Krupskaya Street are home to the maximum number of mollusk species of the studied group.
