The article examines the problem of increasing interest to the phenomenon of spiritual security, the essence of the key problems of this issue and define the role of religious security in the life of Russian society from the point of view of social philosophy.

The article considers the essence and content of the concept of "religious traditionalism" from the point of view of modern social philosophy. The work focuses on the need of mainstreaming this kind of researches and perspectives of study of this sector for the socially oriented sciences.
