Comparative method for teaching phonology in multicultural philological vocational training

Annotation

the present paper objective is to update the issue of phonological competence development in the framework of multicultural education. On the ground of modern pedagogical studies, the basics of multicultural education are refined on and the content of phonological competence is revealed. The process of acquiring phonological competence is characterized on the basis of the comparative method that includes internal and external subject integration. The paper provides the system of contrastive-phonological activities for mastering phonological competence.
