The article presents a review of domestic and international data on the clinical and physiological effects of facial massage techniques in the context of preventive and restorative medicine. The mechanisms of action on the skin, blood vessels, muscles, and the autonomic nervous system are examined, including microcirculation, cutaneous vascular response, lymphatic drainage, and psychophysiological effects.
