Currently, the Arctic, as it is known, is of strategic importance for Russia, therefore, in this regard, the problems of sustainable development of ethnic groups inhabiting the Arctic zone are also being actualized. In this regard, scientific research of various spheres of life in the Arctic zone of Russia, including Yakutia, is becoming important. Great attention is paid to the problems of the Arctic zone: environmental protection, socio-economic development of the region, creation of favorable living conditions for the population, etc. In this regard, the Russian government has approved the Concept of the Russian Federation's Chairmanship in the Arctic Council, as well as an action plan, during which various issues will be discussed, including strengthening trade ties between states, melting permafrost, global warming, combating environmental pollution, and human capital development. This article is devoted to the territorial development and numerical ratio of ethnic groups living in the Arctic.

This paper examines some of the theoretical issues regarding the publication of the Industry 4.0 practices as a voluntary disclosure in the process of business communication. The usage of such reporting is linked to the general process of Sustainable Development Goals achieving in different business and cultural environments. In such approach, a question about the possible role of Sustainability Reports as a communication modality in the global economy arises.

This paper analyzes the possibilities of applying technological trends of the Industry 4.0 concept in education within the framework of achieving Sustainable Development Goals. The task addressed in this work involves identifying the specifics and potential opportunities of digital technologies in the era of Industry 4.0 (both individually and through their integration) that are made available to education in the context of its digital transformation and transform it in the new concept «Education 4.0». The results show that not all digital technologies are equally applicable in the educational sphere.

This article considers social reporting as a new phenomenon for Russian companies. The relevance of the topic is determined by the growing interest in environmental and social activities of companies from stakeholders and at the level of government initiatives. Russian business representatives are aware of the importance of presenting non-financial information, but only some of them publish social reporting now. This is due to a lack of understanding of the methodology, the complexity of the quality criteria for the report, and the laborious process of forming. Therefore, questions of existing standards and techniques, as well as the assessment of the report’s impact on the investment attractiveness of the company are particularly important. In this research paper, the trends in the influence of information on potential investors are identified. The authors propose a reporting methodology based on GRI for companies planning to switch to non-financial reporting.

Green economy models, in particular, the circular economy model, are capable of creating promising ways to build an ecological future, which requires modernization of the system with respect to a number of environmental methods and elements. The article discusses examples of implementing the key principles of sustainable development and the green economy in the activities of foreign energy and oil and gas companies, which represent a segment with the most powerful potential for introducing new innovative processes and conducting environmental projects.

The practice of implementing the key principles of sustainable development and the green economy in the activities of modern oil and gas companies is considered in the article. The authors come to conclusion that the implementation and construction of policies focused on the modernized goals and objectives of the green economy, meeting modern challenges in development, can be a direction for the development and updating of strategies of oil and gas companies in Russia in the medium term.

According to the authors of the monograph, the concept of sustainable development should be reflected in the model of the society development, the formation of which begins at the level of general education. Based on the system approach, it is proposed to approach the development of measures to improve the social, environmental responsibility of individuals. This will create the required competencies in the framework of sustainable development.

The article deals with the main directions of the modern education system development in Kazakhstan. The article considers one of the ways of solving the main task of the special-purpose programme of education development in Russian Federation – the correspondence between the professional education structure and content and the labor market demands. The author proposes the correlation of principles of the professional education, the professional linguodidactics and the synergetics to be the basis of a syllabus for the course “Foreign Language”. The purpose is to increase the productivity of the course in non-linguistic university and achieve the results stipulated in the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education. Due to the selected principles the process of language learning will be various enough, interactive, well-managed in time and knowledge gaining.
