Modern shipbuilding is a diversified industry, which includes the construction of ship hulls, machinery and equipment, as well as a number of related products. Shipbuilding is characterized by unfavorable working conditions, the presence of dangerous and harmful factors leading to work–related injuries, general and occupational morbidity. In recent years, the shipbuilding and ship repair industry, which was largely dependent on ups and downs in the economy, has experienced extremely difficult times. It is possible that the improvement of the economic situation in the field of shipbuilding and ship repair will serve as a reason for reviewing the organization of occupational safety at the level of countries and companies, and will also contribute to the general improvement of working conditions in this important industry.

Conducting scheduled repair work in accordance with the laws of distribution and cost of performance of work between the services of vehicles and determining the optimal value for ATC units providing traffic safety, the costs of maintaining the required level of reliability allows to increase the level of reliability in acceptable costs and any laws for the allocation of their resources.
