«Didactic games in math lessons and extracurricular activities (from work experience)»
The work reflects the issues of preparing and conducting lessons in a playful way. The importance of such lessons for the implementation of the technology of the system-activity approach, which contributes to the formation of a functionally literate personality, is emphasized. Examples of games that can be played both in math lessons and in extracurricular activities are given. In conclusion, the practical results of such games among schoolchildren are briefly discussed.

«Mental arithmetic as a modern methodology of mental calculation training to preschool children»
One of the most promising modern methods of mental calculation training to preschool children is considered in the article – mental arithmetic, the main tool of which is the abacus –calculating tools invented in China. Features of intellectual development and logical thinking of preschool children, the history of the origin of methodology and abacus are described. The process of transition from work with calculation tolls to mental calculation is detailed. The article analyzes typical problems of mental arithmetic, various types of activities in the classroom, the main stages and levels of training.
