«Quality as an economic category and management object»
Problems of quality of market economy are revealed, the main approaches to determination of category «quality» and levels of his assessment under to the ISO international standards of a series 9000 are considered in the article. The interrelation of economy and quality management, efficiency and quality of performance of production is disclosed, considering foreign and domestic experience. The main problem of quality which major factor is increase in the standard of living, economic, social and ecological security is considered.
