The article provides an overview of the basic principles of management of state bodies operating in the natural resource sectors of the Russian Federation, using the example of the municipal formation of the city of Sevastopol. The relevance of this topic is high, since humanity, throughout its existence, mastering all new technologies, actively uses natural resources, and does not always think about environmental safety. Naturally, along with social transformations in society, environmental management based on specific principles should also be improved. It is concluded that not all principles, which are rational from a practical point of view, are fixed on a legislative basis, but are mentioned only in scientific works.

The article examines the current problems of protecting the natural resources of Sevastopol. Anthropogenic factors that have a negative impact on the marine and coastal ecosystems, water resources and biodiversity of the region are analyzed. Comprehensive measures are proposed to optimize environmental protection activities, including increased monitoring, the introduction of modern technologies and the improvement of the ecological culture of the population.

In this article, the main issues of legal regulation of state administration of subsoil use in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra are considered. The relevance of the article is determined by the fact that the Okrug’s further development depends on the effective state (legal) regulation of subsoil use. The importance of the issue of state regulation of the activities of subsoil use entities is due to the fact that the Russian economy has a pronounced raw material orientation. In this connection, the article analyzes the activities of the Department of Subsoil Use and Natural Resources of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, which ensures the existence of an effective mechanism for subsoil use management in the region.

It showed the need for an intensification of the use of natural resources of the Republic of Karelia, first of all, forest and mineral. Intensification should be aimed at increasing the use of their resources, economic, monetary, social and so on.

The article considers the problem questions of the economy through the prism of environmental science . Revealed the direction of development of the states recommended to preserve an environmentally friendly state , subject to certain restrictions .
