It is proposed to upgrade a device with a debarking drum for group cleaning of round timber from bark by attaching solid objects located inside the drum to the inner surface of the drum with flexible elements.

Exploratory research and the experience of enterprises indicates that the group debarking wood is the most important operation in the timber industry enterprises. This preserves the urgency of improving the debarking drums.
