Abstract
In the article the indicators to explore using statistical methods, level and quality of life of the population. Such integrated indicators as the human development index,the gender inequality index and others. The problem of studying the standard of living is that all the considered indicators do not meet fully the task of determining the quality and standard of living of the population, but determine some of the approaches to this study.
