Abstract
The game is a special activity of the child and leading activity in the preschool period, which helps to perform a wide range of social functions. E. O. Smirnova notes that through play the child processes is received from the outside world knowledge and experience. The game develops thinking and imagination of the child, his emotional sphere, activity, develops the need for communication.
