this article presents overview from various disciplines of scientific literature of anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa in men. The article contains a brief description of the epidemiological data, research, setting forth the biological, social and psychological determinants of studying disorders. In conclusion the authors attempted to identify the hypothetical risk factors that may be predictive of anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa syndromes development in men. The article also describes the prospect of further research work in the framework of this subject.
