The relationship between mathematical abilities and psychological characteristics of a person

The paper conducted a survey of 150 respondents (11th grade students and students) and analyzed their results in solving problems in logic, spatial reasoning, probabilistic analysis and algorithms. Significant correlations were found between the level of mathematical skills and such personal qualities as perseverance, attentiveness, discipline and responsibility.
