The work reflects the issues of preparing and conducting lessons in a playful way. The importance of such lessons for the implementation of the technology of the system-activity approach, which contributes to the formation of a functionally literate personality, is emphasized. Examples of games that can be played both in math lessons and in extracurricular activities are given. In conclusion, the practical results of such games among schoolchildren are briefly discussed.

В работе нашли отражение вопросы подготовки и проведения школьных олимпиад в 7–8 классах по физике и математике. Показывается творческий подход к решению этих вопросов в виде проведения физико–математической игры «Абак». Приводятся подробные правила игры, примеры заданий. В заключение кратко разбираются практические результаты проведения подобных игр среди школьников.
