«Вступление России в Северную войну в отечественной историографии XVIII – начала XX веков»
The article is devoted to consideration of what had Russia entered the North War for. The article gives a detailed analysis of concepts of Russian historians created in XVIII – the beginning of XX centuries. The following conclusions are drawn: there were two reasons for Russia to enter the war. Firstly, to return primordial Russian lands, which were lost in the Time of Trouble. Secondly, to strengthen positions in Baltics. The background of these conceptions is revealed
