The article analyzes the situation in the Syrian economy, on the basis of which key problems are identified: GDP fall, inflation, decline in household incomes, imbalance in foreign economic activity with a predominance of imports. It is justified that in order to increase the efficiency of the national economy in Syria, it is necessary not only to carry out economic reforms but ensure the preservation of the existing foreign economic relations.

The article examines the issues of influence of OPEC countries on the international oil market. Also, the author analyzes the state of the oil market and fluctuations in oil prices at the macroeconomic level for 2011–2016.

«Increasing of geo-economic potential of Russia in the world economy by boosting non-resource exports of its regions (on the example of the Rostov Region)»
The article describes the role of exports in the context of increasing geo-economic position of Russia in international economic relations. The significance of increasing non-resource exports as driver of innovative development is substantiated. Special attention is paid to export positions and prospects of the Rostov region. The importance of this region in the system of Russia’s high-tech exports is emphasized. The author analyzes the key global non-resource markets, the presence in which is crucial for the competitiveness of the country and the region in the global economy.

«Факторы развития экспорта российской сырой нефти в современных условиях»
В статье проводится анализ внутренних и внешних по отношению к российской экономике факторов, оказывающих влияние на динамику объемов экспорта сырой нефти из России. Предлагается эконометрическая модель, описывающая влияние неценовых внутренних факторов на физический объем экспорта российской сырой нефти; сделаны выводы о перспективах экспортных поставок сырой нефти из России в условиях ценового давления и ограничительных санкций со стороны стран Евросоюза.
