Questions of management of hotel activity based on provisions of modern social policy in Russia are considered in the work. Support of social tourism within realization of social policy of the state can provide to hotel business additional segments of the market. Segments can be such social groups as youth, the elderly, persons with disabilities. Studying the needs of these social groups will help the hotel business to develop a competent management strategy.
