Abstract
This article presents a description of the stylistic devices of expressiveness used when creating a female image in modern English literature. The purpose of this paper is to determine the most important means of describing the appearance and emotional state of a woman. The novelty of the research consists in analyzing the means of creating the image from the perspective of the female perception of the world.
