many features of the traditional approaches toeducation are so practically reinforced by high-quality training, are recognized as classics of pedagogy, so rejection of the traditions is very doubtful, even if they seem to be innovative. This applies to some attempts to introduce in practice of high schools the method of modular block training. The article examines some comparative qualities of traditional and modular-block approach to training. Results of the study were not in favor of the last one.
