Level strategies for teaching a foreign language at the university

Annotation

the article deals with priorities of level language learning at non-linguistic institutions of higher professional education in Russia and contains recommendations for level learning. Attention is paid to delineate the most urgent problems that require further development. A level approach to foreign language teaching is considered as both a practical strategy in organizing foreign language teaching at the university and a factor that contributes to the development of educational system.

Independent learning as an important factor of language education

the article discusses the role of independent learning of foreign languages as an effective form of language education, that promotes acquisition of strong language skills and raises the interest in the foreign language among students. The author pays attention to the goals and objectives of independent learning, its organization, content, types and forms. It is concluded that systematic and carried out independent learning has a great educational value and contributes to the acquisition of the foreign language.
