There are 57 heritage monuments in vorotyn District, 5 of which are monuments of Federal importance, 2 museums, 19 natural heritage monuments. The article is devoted to the study of historical and cultural vorotyn district.

The article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of implementing educational intensives in basic military training as a means of patriotic upbringing of young people. The problems of modern patriotic upbringing are analysed, the relevance of the military‑patriotic direction is substantiated, and methodological approaches to organising the intensives are presented.
