В данной статье автором рассматриваются основные этапы развития имущественного положений женщин различных слоев населения в Англии в XIX веке, а также основные акты, регулирующие данные моменты. Сделан вывод, что несмотря на принадлежность к разным социальным группам, замужние женщины не обладали всем набором гражданских прав.
