«Personal characteristics development among teenagers in childish collective»
The article reviews various factors influencing personal characteristics development among teenagers. One of the main factors is the childish collective. The authors mark that teenager’s with low sociometric status are limited in communication, have a high level of aggres-siveness and a low level of moral development. High social status is correlated with personal characteristics development: mental power, abstract and logical thinking, independence, self-confidence, social courage, will and morality.

The family is a significant factor in the identity formation of the child not only in pre-school and primary school, but in adolescence, when the referent becomes the peer group. The article describes an empirical study of the type of parental relationship and status of the adolescent in the peer group.
