The problems of unemployment and employment directly affect the development of human resources and the labor market, as an essential element of a market economy. In this regard, the article examines the relationship between unemployment and the development of the regional economy. Understanding the main problems of unemployment in the regional economy contributes to the development by public authorities of effective solutions to complex socio-economic development. The author concludes that it is important to take into account the problems of unemployment at the regional level and the need for regular assessment of the causes of their occurrence while simultaneously developing optimal solutions to offset critical changes.

Options for implementation in the framework of the Internet portal of the Government of Moscow of new electronic services associated primarily with the effective visualization and informing of new real estate in the city of Moscow, as well as the ability to influence the proposed services on the development of the regional economy are considered in the article. Offers of the author based on the results of research carried out in the course of the joint work of the Department of territorial bodies of the executive power of the city of Moscow and the Moscow State University of Technology and Management named after K.G. Razumovsky.

According to the author, the strategic goal of the University lies in the development of innovative potential of the region in the development of the industrial complex, and the training of qualified personnel. An example of Samara State Technical University, which is a huge educational potential for students, is described in the article.
