The article reveals the investment and innovative policy of the region. The main idea of this policy is to provide the forces of social mechanisms of innovative and reproductive development based on the use of the region’s competitive advantages and, first of all, on building up its investment and innovation potential. The development of the main directions of the regional policy, taking into account the conditions and achievements of the region, can provide an opportunity to concentrate the region's resources in breakthrough directions of development, repeatedly increase innovation and investment activity, improve the quality of state regulation and management of the region that will ensure its competitiveness.

В данной работе рассмотрено влияние кластерных структур на повышение конкурентоспособности экономики регионов. Реализация предлагаемой кластерной структуры развития народного хозяйства региона должна обеспечить переход экономики региона на траекторию развития, характеризуемую эффективным функционированием агропромышленного комплекса в долговременной перспективе.

The article describes three categories of network models of cluster structures inherent to the industrial and post-industrial economy, given their characteristics, highlighted fundamental differences between them, which allows more accurate and reasonable to carry out cluster policy aimed at the development of competitive markets to choose effective measures to increase the competitiveness of companies, and to communicate effectively to public authorities, business and academia in order to coordinate efforts to improve innovative production.
